Early November 2006.

18lb 6oz Mirror Carp, 15lb 4 Mirror Carp, 12lb 7oz Common Carp and loads around doubles and from 3lb.
Caught in swim 4, 20 yards straight out, on a 14mm hair rigged pellet, with a small PVA bag of 4mm pellet.
This was some of 24 Carp all caught in a 24hr session by one of our recent new members.
He tells us he had a sleepless night !! ?

Mid November 2006.

Day ticket guest Peter Holmes as seen in some of our pictures in our gallery, he had a great net of a mixed bag of fish Carp, roach, tench and chub.
He was warned before fishing about his elastic, thx to Peter he donated loads of tackle due too his light elastic.
When he stepped up his elastic he did hook into a big fish which proved to be too tough!!
Peter tells us he is really looking forward to coming back as a member and fishing the lake in the summer months.

Early December 2006.

Member Steve Killgallon caught a 4lb 2oz Perch.
This was a superb looking fish, unfortunately he was unable to get any pictures.
He was very proud of his catch.
His young son Sam attended his first days fishing and caught fish up to 3lb, this made it worth him attending and sent him away with a smile on his face wanting to come again.

Early December 2006.

Mark Anderson one of the lake Management, caught a 3lb 8oz Perch along with a mixed bag of fish which weighed in over 50lb.

Mid December 2006.

Day ticket angler Tony the Glazier from Downham Tackle, caught a 15lb 6 Mirror Carp, 2lb 9oz Chub and a good bag of fish, he tells us that he lost a fish a lot bigger than the 15lb one he caught.
He fished on the waggler and the pole during the day.
Tony tells us he is joining the lake as a new member for the remainder of this season and next season after his first trip to Silverbirch.
He is looking forward to bringing his young daughter who is a keen young angler.

January 2006.

A Chub of 3lb 5oz and 4 Roach all around a 1lb 8oz's were caught by day ticket guest Dave boy Brown.

We have currently been stocking the lake over the last six weeks and it has still been fishing well considering the bad spell of wheather we have had.
